Danny Green and the Houston Rockets have agreed to a contract buyout, and he’s expected to decide on his next team soon. With that, the Los Angeles Lakers are among interested teams, but there are two other front-runners when you look at a potential Danny Green team where he could sign next, and that’s the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics.
The Lakers and Suns are also involved, but it looks like that Cavaliers team and that Celtics team, two Eastern Conference teams, are interested in going after Danny Green.
Now, when you look at the Phoenix Suns, they weren’t front runners to go out and sign Terrence Ross; it looked like the Dallas Mavericks were going to sign him, but ultimately they were able to sign Terrence Ross, and then you look at the Lakers.
Danny Green is a guy who’s played with LA in the past, but the Lakers are in a weird situation right now. They’re still 13th in the West, but they look a lot better. I mean, granted, it was the first game, but they looked a lot better in that first game with D’Angelo Russell.
Jared Vanderbilt Malik Beasley once the threes start falling for Malik Beasley I think it’ll be even better but Jared Vanderbilt had a great first game and then D’Angelo Russell was facilitating well, hit a three, was also getting to the rim and overall his presence on the floor was definitely felt.
His abilities as a play maker and him being such a great pick and roll thread being that guys can’t go under the screen because he could shoot the ball well-made the team have a whole new dynamic and if he wanted to add more shooting around that new dynamic with Danny Green, I think that he could be a great addition but it looks like there are some other teams out there that have similar ideas. They want more shooting and defence on the wing, and you would understand that in the modern NBA, 3 and D players are very valuable, but can the Lakers somehow make a run at Danny Green? I mean, he has played alongside LeBron and A.D. in the past, and he would be a good fit with his team.
They’re among the involved teams with potentially signing Danny Green, so maybe they can get in the mix. Rob Pelinka did say that he wasn’t going to necessarily go out and sign somebody in the buyout market and they were just going to see how things developed; it was something along those lines. So maybe the Lakers get involved in the buyout market, and Danny Green could be a quality addition to the rotation for some Wing depth, and maybe the Lakers could offer a bigger role than some of these other teams could when you look at teams like Cleveland and Boston; they already have set rotations; they’re already doing really well in the standings; and there might be more of an opportunity for minutes for Danny Green in the Lakers rotation than some of these other teams. When you look at teams like Cleveland and Boston, they already have already, and there might be more than some of these other teams already. When you look at teams like Cleveland and Boston; they’re already. They’re already, and there might be more of an opportunity for Danny Green. There might be more of an opportunity for Danny Green.
