Lakers Kyrie Irving & Buddy Hield Trade UPDATE! Los Angeles Lakers News, Rumors, & Updates
Recently the lakers and Indiana Pacers have re-engaged in talks on a potential buddy hield trade, and also there was a report that at least one of the lakers, first round picks would be required for the Brooklyn nets to trade away Kyrie Irving along with some second-round draft picks,
So maybe it’s possible that the lakers could pull off this Kyrie Irving trade without giving up multiple first-round picks, and then they could in turn use more picks to try and bring in buddy hield, they would still have another first-round pick available to go get buddy hield, maybe they could throw in some seconds round picks if that’s what they need to make that happen, but I really do think that this trade makes the most sense as a three-team deal, I talked about this yesterday but I want to talk about it a bit more the Brooklyn nets they have traded away a lot of their future draft picks to the Houston Rockets, because they ended up going out to get James Harden ended up leaving the team it was a big mess for Brooklyn,
But ultimately they ended up with Ben Simmons on the roster James Harden went to Philadelphia right, so they can’t really just go out and tank, because they don’t have their picks, those picks are going to Houston right so if you can get guys like Myles turner, who is a solid big man who can help you right now and Taylor Horton tucker who can contribute now but also has potential for the future and you get multiple second round picks, I feel like it could be a great move if you’re the Brooklyn nets especially when you look at this situation with Kyrie Irving is a guy who becomes an unrestricted free agent after this upcoming season, and based on a lot of reports it seems like he would like to join the Los Angeles Lakers after this upcoming year,
So would they rather have Kyrie Irving on the roster for this year, and then ultimately end up losing out on him that seems like, what might happen if they end up losing out on him, and they don’t have anybody who’s coming back that could be pretty bad for this Brooklyn nets team right, so I think that it could be a good situation if they look to make a trade, and if the lakers were able to add so much shooting with Kyrie Irving and buddy hield they’d be in such a great spot going into next year, I mean LeBron James Anthony Davis kyrie buddy hield you’ve got Lonnie walker, the fourth who you’ve signed you’ve got Thomas Bryant you’ve got Juan toscano anderson you’ve got Damian Jones,
I feel like you would have a really solid roster going to next year, maybe you look at signing Dennis Schroder on a minimum contract you also still have kendrick nunn around in this scenario, i just think that there are a lot of avenues the lakers could take there’s a lot of ways this could work out, and if they don’t make a trade for kyrie maybe a trade with the Utah jazz could be another option.
