Kyrie Irving and Jae Crowder Kyrie Irving is a guy who the Los Angeles Lakers went after in the off-season but ultimately didn’t end up trading for and then Jae Crowder is a player who requested a trade from the Phoenix Suns prior to the start of the season.
But has yet to have that trade request granted as the suns are holding out for a certifiable starter in a Jae Crowder trade and this could take a while for the Phoenix Suns because you usually don’t see many trades go down prior to the trade deadline if those trades do go down they’re usually before the season trades going down during the season before the trade deadline are few and far between and that’s likely why we haven’t seen a move go down for the Phoenix Suns.
The sun’s need is somebody who can contribute especially in the absence of Devin Booker and the Los Angeles Lakers could definitely use a guy like Jae Crowder on their team this article was talking about if it’s factor or fiction about these trade rumors and but fiction that the Suns actually get a starter back from a playoff Contender for Crowder.
Maybe the Lakers could get in the mix and try to make a move for Jae Crowder now let’s talk about Kyrie Irving there was a rumor linking him to the Houston Rockets in free agency the reason behind that is the Houston Rockets have a lot of caps space this off-season there was also a rumor linking James Harden to Houston this off-season as well so those are two things to look out for as these two guards will be headlining 2023 free agency assuming they don’t end up returning to their teams.
Let’s talk about this if the Houston Rockets do have that cap space and Kyrie Irving is looking for a long-term deal, and he plays well this season everything goes well maybe the Los Angeles Lakers should try and get in the mix and make a move for Kyrie Irving would greatly compliment LeBron James and Anthony Davis and the Lakers have been holding on to these future draft picks.
And also you have to keep in mind that the Lakers can have over 30 million in cap space this off-season so maybe they could also look to go after a guy like Kyrie Irving, but they could have some competition apparently with Houston as Houston has been in the lottery for quite some time now, and they’re in the midst of their rebuild we’ll have to see what ends up going down in Brooklyn though.
Because they’ve been playing so well as of late it’d be hard to imagine Kyrie Irving leaving if the Nets end up making a deep postseason run and play really well I wouldn’t see why he wouldn’t just want to run it back with the Brooklyn Nets alongside Kevin Durant and Ben Simmons trying to add another star will likely be difficult for Lakers and it’ll be interesting to see how they approach the trade deadline and if they end up making any moves or if they hold out for the 2023 off-season and try to retool their roster than.
