We’ve seen a ton of Los Angeles Lakers trade rumors especially over these past couple weeks with that December 15th date where players who were signed in free agency were eligible to be traded starting on that day came up we started to see more and more trade rumors surrounding mad.
And also the Lakers have just been in the mix throughout the off-season with a potential Russell Westbrook trade looming but now we still haven’t seen any huge Lakers trade go down but I wonder if there could be a trade that could happen between multiple teams.
Where the Lakers could add Myles Turner, the Lakers would be adding Myles Turner they would be trading away their 2027 first-round pick, and they would also be trading away Patrick Beverley and Kendrick Nunn now let me explain the rest of this trade scenario know because it’s absolutely wild in this trade the Indiana Pacers would be adding John Collins they would also be trading away Buddy Hield, and they would get that 2027 Lakers first it’s been rumored that they have interest in John Collins.
So I feel like it would make sense for them they would get a power forward whose young and would fit their timeline also trading away Buddy Hield would give Benedict Mathurin a chance to start and I just think that that first could be very beneficial for them as well now looking at this trade for the Hawks they’ve been rumored to have interest in Jae Crowder they would get him in the scenario they would also get Dario Saric who’s on an expiring contract and the Phoenix Suns they would get Buddy Hield a guy who could help them improve their team shooting.
And then also they would be giving up two future second round picks I think that this trade would be huge for the Lakers because last night we saw Anthony Davis yet again have an injury struggle and sometimes A. D is gonna have these issues we’ve seen that time and time again and it’s really unfortunate especially with how great of a player he is but with Anthony Davis having this injury issues having some insurance in the front Court.
Especially defensively with a guy like Myles Turner could be absolutely huge Thomas Bryant was able to step up in Anthony Davis’s absence but I think defensively what Myles Turner can bring would be so huge for this Lakers team and if Myles Turner and A. D are paired up in the front court and both playing defensively that would be so crazy they’re two of the best defenders in the entire league two of the best shot blockers in the entire league.
I mean opposing front courts would have problems trying to score on them and I feel like that defensive lineup could absolutely shut teams down Russell Westbrook has been great Off the Bench for the Lakers, and they also have had guys like Austin Rivers Thomas Bryant and Lonnie Walker the fourth stepping UPS so if they could add a player like Myles Turner I think we could see even more improvements from this Lakers team.
