Lakers news: “Done Deal” Lakers Trade for Myles Turner And Buddy Hield

So it looks like the Indiana Pacers would be willing to trade Myles Turner and Buddy Hield for two unprotected first round picks and this tells us quite a bit as we look at the Los Angeles Lakers potentially making a trade.

The Indiana Pacers wanting to make this type of trade seemingly based on this report I think that the Lakers could have a good opportunity to wait things out and try to make a trade with the Pacers later on maybe if they gave up one of those future first round picks and maybe some future second rounders a little bit later into the season.

The Indiana Pacers realize okay Myles Turner is going into free agency buddy yield has two years left on his deal we need to make a trade happen and really these picks from the Lakers are going to be our best option I think like I said maybe a first-round pick and some second round picks could be a more realistic trade for La based on what the Lakers want.

Because it seems like the Lakers would be willing to give up two future first if it was for a big name star like Donovan Mitchell or Kyrie Irving but when it comes to adding solid role players they wouldn’t be willing to give up those picks and that makes sense when you look at Myles Turner going into free agency in 2023.

The Indiana Pacers are really the ones who are under pressure to make a move because when you look at the Pacers I feel like Myles Turner could end up leaving Indiana in free agency and then the Pacers wouldn’t get any picks in a potential trade involving Myles Turner buddy healed because well Myles Turner wouldn’t be on the roster anymore.

The Pacers are moving towards a rebuild and although Myles Turner is still young he doesn’t exactly fit the timeline and the same goes for Buddy healed he’s almost 30 years old at this point, so he doesn’t really fit the timeline of the rebuild either and really at the this point it benefits the Pacers to lose games.

They want to get a better draft pick so that they can get a better Talent through the draft and for the Lakers yeah they could make a move to try and improve their roster right now but if they wait till around the trade deadline there could be a lot more opportunities especially when you consider how competitive the league is right now there could be a lot of teams that are struggling by the trade deadline let’s say maybe three or four teams that have really underperformed and just want to tank out the rest of the season, and they’re willing to trade some of their guys.

I mean that could be the Lakers real opportunity to go out there and make a move and maybe that’s for Myles Turner Buddy Hield because the Pacers are winning too many games or maybe it’s for another team that was trying to win this year but ends up struggling or maybe it’s for a disgruntled star ultimately we’ll have to see what happens.
